Greg speaks Mandarin Chinese and has extensive business development, management and entrepreneurial experience across a range of technical fields both in the U.S. and China. Greg graduated with honors as a pre-med student from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a double-major Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Religious Studies. He worked and volunteered extensively in a number of hospitals and for a number of private physicians.
He was accepted to medical school, but instead chose to don his backpack on a quest for Truth to the Far East where he immersed himself in the formal study of Mandarin Chinese for a full year and then lived and worked in Dalian, Beijing & Shanghai for five years. For the majority of the time he was the Director of Business Development in Shanghai for a Los angeles-based Internet software development consultancy. Greg returned to the United States and earned a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado and then worked in business development for an international Leadership & Executive Coaching consultancy that was acquired by Korn Ferry.
As an avid yoga meditation practitioner of many years, Greg then decided to dedicate a major portion of his life giving back by undergoing intense personal development training while living & serving full-time as a yoga meditation monk in the California ashrams of a respected international non-denominational nonprofit founded by the acclaimed author of Autobiography of a Yogi.
Electrocharged Aqua Solutions is one of the earliest adopters and manufacturers of the now popular hypochlorous acid disinfecting, sanitizing and cleaning solution. Erven “Erv” Tallman was born on May 5, 1927 in Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. He and his lovely wife of 65 years, described by him as being a true queen and the best woman that he’s ever known, met in Los Angeles in the 1940’s.
Erv was a good catch And he thought the same about his lovely wife-to-be, Beatrice “Bee”. Erv was already working as a large equipment operator and a manager as a young teen when he was presented with his first business opportunity. A friend introduced him to a forester who knew there was a great opportunity to open a sawmill in Canada and Erv only had one cousin who had become successful. They had opened a successful liquor store in the United States after prohibition (yes, they were already experienced in the industry during prohibition!).
Erv traveled to see them and was able to borrow about $5,000 with only his good name as collateral and opened his sawmill! Erv was on his way! He started delivering the cut lumber and was receiving unmarked manila envelopes from the lumber yard owner filled with cash. He paid his cousins back and didn’t know what to do with all that money!
He dared not tell his parents because he knew they would have ideas about it. He found a great hiding place in his mother’s cellar. There was an unattach board near where his mother stored her jam and that board could be pulled back revealing a hiding place inside. And that’s where Erv hid the cash! He helped design and hired some men to build his first house by the time he was 20!
Erv continued as an honorable and very hard worker for many decades, becoming quite successful. His brother started an agricultural equipment and supply company in Canada that has now grown into Princess Auto, a retail and distribution company with retail outlets across Canada, valued in the range of $1 billion USD. Erv himself has opened and run many successful businesses, primarily as a builder and manufacturer. Along with being a successful builder, he spent much of his career in the pneumatics industry. He’s opened and run various manufacturing facilities in a number of countries.
Erv’s passionate about hypochlorous acid because he may not be here without it. He contracted the potentially life-threatening MRSA bacterial infection (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) after cutting his finger on a circuit board at one of his companies in Denver, Colorado and nearly died when a physician inaccurately diagnosed him and gave him a penicillin shot, which is not a good thing for MRSA! Fortunately, a physician in Erv’s family happened to have discovered hypochlorous acid and recommended it to treat his MRSA, and it healed him and Erv has religiously been using hypochlorous acid ever since!
With an unyielding commitment to share the simple and natural product with the world, he founded Envirocleanse, a leading hypochlorous acid manufacturer. Erv sold the company to a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary about 10 years ago.
Erv has spent many years, countless hours and significant capital researching the hypochlorous acid manufacturing industry and is the proud North American distributor of Izumrud, a Russian electrochemistry cell and device manufacturer who provides Electrocharged Aqua Solutions with state-of-the-art electrochemistry devices that are unmatched in combined quality, reliability and value.
